no problem. Your phone line coming out behind the bookshelf 
terminates in a male plug. Put that into the 
straight-through female on the splitter block. The other two 
female ports will be line 1 and line 2 (both coming out on 
the center pair of wires). Ignore the male connector on the 
splitter block
