[TriLUG] OT - gigabit switches

Last one I deployed was cisco# WS-C2960-24TT-L. We bolted up the two
gigabit ports to the server and run 100 Mbps to clients.
I never read the sales literature. Instead, I called to ask what they
recommended and picked up the product line.
Regards,
Jim

Given that the sales literature will do it's best to camouflage this fact,
any suggestions how I would tell the difference?
TIA,
