I tried `cat`. That didn't work. I can only use gedit so 
far. It opens it's own window. (I got the machine unhung by 
changing "always ask" to "true". in the mimetypes file.)


I was hoping just to look at the file like you did with 
netscape - ie comes up in a netscape window.
