Earlier this year we got a new IBM pSeries 570 at ${WORK} and did Gentoo 
on the bare iron.  With 8 dual-core POWER5 processors, two threads per 
core, it showed up as 32 processors under Linux.  128GB of RAM, insanely 
fast SAN-attached disk... you get the picture.

"emerge samba" took less than 30 seconds.
