hahaha. on my p4 3.2 i can be up and running in a day. i only install
the minimal amount of items required for kde... because i don't have a
need for the rest of that crap.

i also pimp my CFLAGS / CXXFLAGS as much as possible ...and my use flags
as well. when all else fails, read up on the gcc 4.x compiler flags.
