we're playing the old guy game now. i came to ncsu in 1968. i had already 
been using tucc while in high school from central piedmont community 
college. there was no computer at ncsu at that time only a transmition 
terminal and printer connected to tucc. later on ncsu got the tucc cast 
off that glenn h refers to and some place along the line unc got a 360/75.

i came to unc in 1977 the 360/75 was still there. so was tucc. until 1990. 
then tucc vanished. the nc supercenter picked up some of the slack.
