[TriLUG] CPU Considerations/Recommendations

The AMD XP2600 computer on which I'm now typing is probably the most rock
solid computer I've ever had, although my circa 1997 Pentium II 300 was a
close second.

Perhaps part of this computer's quality is that Mandriva 2007 is one heck of a
great product, so I get few software faults.

I have a fleet of about 3 other AMD desktops, and none of them has had
problems. I've also had excellent luck with most of my Intel computers,
except for a couple with really cheapo mobos.
