aha! ok, so I stand corrected.. I always hear the guys at work complain about "theres 
no upgrade option" available for redhat x.x.. and (wrongly) assumed that it was the 
same for debian/ubuntu.. I have used ubuntu on my wifes pc for a while, but didnt have it 
installed long enough to go through a version upgrade.
