all,

short question: should this combo work?

longer symptoms: i put this new frame buffer into one of the pci slots. when
i boot the machine (cd [ubuntu or knoppix], disk ubuntu 6.10, it doesn't
matter) i get no video output. the machine boots i just don't get any
console output.

ideas? suggestions? i could find nothing on the abit site about jumpers that
needed jumping and couldn't find much (strangely) on the nvidia site.
