Yes, this is the case exactly. I found I *CAN* ssh out, I just can't open
outbound ports thanks to the ssh proxy. So I think I'll give the irssi a go
and see if I can get it installed on my OS X machine. IRC out is not
possible. I'm trying to do the "ssh -D" but I get some truly funky stuff
back that I haven't quite figured out what to do with yet.
