[TriLUG] Still having problems with fstab in Ubuntu Feisty...

Michael,
   I suggest moving the mount point of your NTFS partition to
somewhere int he media directory, it should at least drop a link onto
the desktop when mounted in the /media/ tree.  No idea about why it
works outside of /mnt, though my first hunch is that it is a
permissions issue. so... you are now mounting correctly from the
FSTAB... just not when mounting to the /mnt/ tree?
  And I dont know much about the control center problems or trash
applet... I should have some spare cycles this evening to poke around.
I'll see what I can do.
