I reject this reasoning.  It's not a job, it's a volunteer position,
and even my "job" doesn't require me to deal with the sorting spam
from legitimate mail at the rate that steering@ receives spam.  We're
able to operate more efficiently with steering@ locked down, and "goes
with the job" doesn't outweigh that.
