1. Understanding X-Windows configuration (in detail)
2. MySQL-J: a group project in making a non-blocking mysql that runs 
Java in process and opens no connections. (mostly C code, some Java, 
would take multiple weeks)
3. Hooking up a camera and editing video/burning on Linux (aka 
iMovie+iDVD on Linux)
