[TriLUG] Steering@

Don't get me wrong, I understand that spam is a problem, and
(God|Satan|Allah|FSM|Zoroaster|<insert favorite deity here>) knows
I don't want any more of it myself. But I also believe any sort of body
tasked with leading / steering a group of people,
should be as accessible as possible (and preferably as transparent as
possible as well, but that's another issue).

I like this idea... white-list people who are subscribers to the general
list, to send to steering at . That
would presumably eliminate most of the spam, while allowing the people
most likely to be familiar
with using steering@ to continue doing that. And like Andy says, we can
still have the web-form
as well.

So, any Python hackers here who could cook us up a way to allow Mailman
to white-list
senders from a different lists's subscriber list?

TTYL,

Phil
