Howdy all, I've got two items that may be of interest to you:

1) Old computer.  It's got a a 266 MHz Cyrix MediaGX MMX Enhanced CPU,
32 MB of RAM, and a 10 GB HD.  It also has 2 NICs, and is really small
(though not quiet due to a kind of noisy fan).  Free to good home (must
have a fenced yard and you have to promise to take it for walks!)  It
currently has Gentoo installed, but DSL might be a better candidate
(installation is slightly tricky because it doesn't have any removable
media drives...)

2) 24 port 10 Base/T switch by 3com.
