[TriLUG] reply to "real men use scsi"

 	(I've deleted the posting by Jim Ray, so am starting 
a new thread).

 	Only a subset of the scsi commands are used to 
underlie usb: eg you can't use the smartmon/smartctl 
commands to check an IDE/ATA/SATA disk in an external usb 
holder, which is a bit of a bummer.

 	So it's not a real man's scsi that underlies usb at 
all.
