Can I ask this question is a different way?

Among those of you who have previously received a certification in
a related computing technology (MCSE, RHCE, etc.):

If your certification is no longer current, how many times did you
renew before letting is lapse?

If your certification remains current, how many times have 
you renewed?

Just one of those "Curious minds want to know" questions.
