Durrr. I missed your second post. Sorry for asking questions you'd
already answered.

Under debian you'd need "squashfs-tools" ... what is it in Gentoo? The
Ubuntu instructions make it fairly obvious. Maybe they'll be a good
reference in trying it under Gentoo?
