[TriLUG] [OT] Replacement battery for APC SU700BX120

A note on my experience with Batteries Plus at Southpoint.  Not to start 
the whole TigerDirect/privacy issue again, but:


Batteries Plus demanded my name, address and telephone number in order 
to sell me a replacement portable phone battery  After arguing for quite 
some time (this was a $14 purchase!), they finally let me walk out the 
door with my privacy intact.  (*and* the battery was junk).  The 
salesman warned me very solemnly that I wouldn't be allowed to get away 
with that for a more expensive battery.  If it's important to you, you 
may want to check - or just memorize your local Refuse Dept. or Radio 
Shack address and phone number :) - before going there.
