Anyone following the Asus Eee PC (laptop) thread? I'm having a hard time
trying to figure out if the laptop is going to be $200.00 (us) or FunkyL
200.00 (british pounds). Obviously a 200 brit. pound laptop would equate to
a $400 US laptop so that isn't quite as exciting.

This laptop looks like the perfect sized laptop to keep in my backpack for
work. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to connect up to the
public Wi-Fi at work, start a SSH tunnel, and check on this or that.. such a
thing would be a royal pain with my work laptop as I'd have to disconnect
from the work LAN, blah blah blah blah, then relocate over to the windows
where I can pick up the ATHD Wi-Fi.
Anyway, just wondered if anyone had any opinions on the laptop. Sure, a 4
gig flash-based HD is tiny, but it's enough to hold all my Linux tools I
need.
