you may have to modprobe for them.

Subject: [TriLUG] Driver help

Greetings,

I've just received a Dell PE 600SC with two mirrored IDE drives using a
LSI Logic CERC controller. I'm trying to install CentOS, but can't seem
to find a working driver. I've googled around and see a lot of posts
about Dell CERC ATA100/4ch not being supported by any drivers in the
2.6.x kernel.

Has anyone run into this?

If so, how did you work around it?

If not, does anyone have any suggestions for an IDE RAID controller that
behaves well with linux?

Thanks!
