[TriLUG] linksys pap2

Good Afternoon All,

I recently decided to setup a home asterisk system. I want to keep the 
budget low so I had thought about using a pap2 ( pre-installed for 
vonage ) and unlocking it for use with broadvoice, etc.

The first one I purchased, I hooked up to my system ( with access to the 
internet ) and now it is locked with a new version of software from 
vonage. I know that I can purchase another and learn from my mistakes, 
but it would be nice if I could find someone local who has been able to 
neutralize the newer software from vonage. 

Is there anyone on this list that has been able to accomplish this? If 
so, I would like to hear from them.
