[TriLUG] latest ubuntu updates killed my wireless

I know everyone's auto-updates are different, because they have different
stuff installed, but the latest round of updates on my ubuntu Gutsy (7.10)
system caused Network Manager not to recognize my wireless card.  I have a
Dell Inspiron E1505n...one of the ones that came pre-installed with ubuntu.
Are there any known issues with recent auto-updates?  Are there logs of what
updates were installed?  I'd like to get this solved tonight if possible
since I'll be heading out of town tomorrow morning and may just have
sporadic access to wireless and no wired capabilities.
