Hmm... Something in my mail system ate 2 messages in this thread, the
one from Scott and one from Ritesh. It ate Ritesh's email as I was
watching it so I got on pipermail and lo and behold there is also a
message from Scott also. So unfortunately my reply has no quotation..
In my original message I listed the MX Laser as one I have used for
quite a while. Specifically it is the MX 1000 Laser. It doesn't appear
on logitech's site anymore so it may be discontinued but I found it on
amazon:

I've also mentioned a Logitech bluetooth mouse which is the V270. This
model has a manual on/off switch and thus doesn't shut off its LED.
Again, I think the mouse has been replaced by a newer model but it is
still available.

I've tried other bluetooth mice and have seen what you both mention,
jitters and startup lag, so I know what you are talking about, but it
is completely non existent with both the mice I have mentioned.
In the interest of full disclosure I don't do any serious FPS gaming
but I do a lot of player-vs-player in World of Warcraft and based on
the little FPS I've played I feel it is close enough to call the
difference nill. While my reaction time may not be the top of the
board, I don't think it is enough that I'd fail to notice significant
lag if it were existent.
