My wife has a couple of large pots on the porch with those ceramic
figures in them (one a turtle with a bouncing head, the other a
rabbit). The turtle is hollow and has openings in it that would easily
fit a webcam. They also make figurines with holes in them -- easy
enough to hide a webcam in.

At our house, though, we have a motion sensor mounted on the corner of
the garage near the front door, and I have a webcam mounted on the
motion sensor so that it looks like part of the motion sensor. I have a
couple of infrared lamps mounted in the same base that holds the
security spotlights, that just look like burned-out security lights.
(The motion sensor trips the security lights on via my controller
computer, which also records video from the camera). At night the
camera gets a good view of the door, porch and immediate front yard from
the infrared spotlights.

Now if I can just get a camera on the mailbox to catch the license plate
of those kids baseball-batting our mailbox ... Did someone say wireless
webcam?
