Leeloo Dallas Multicore!

Is "multicore" the technical term for "stranded"?

Also, if you are crimping connectors, make sure you get connectors for
the type of cable you're using -- solid or stranded/multicore.  I've
been told there's a difference.

if it's cable that will be unplugged and replugged on a 
regular basic, make sure it's multicore.
