Be sure to use the 32 bit Gutsy CD, or you won't boot on 32-bit systems.
BTW I use a USB key with my latest custom flash based 32-bit debian
install I made. I do this b/c, among other things there's no ddrescue
on Ubuntu. It uses unionfs & squashfs to mount the flash ro, and it
keeps one disk partition writeable just in case. My blog (see sig) has
more info on how to do this yourself, though I should probably turn it
into a wiki.
