[TriLUG] OT: Looking for an old pc or switch

I am currently a student at UNCG and I am looking to learn more about
IDS/IPS (snort in particular) and firewalls. I would like to get my hands
on either a switch that has the ability to do port spanning (mirroring) or
an old pc that I can run a copy of ipcop or openbsd on. Please let me know
if any one has such a solution they would be willing to give/sell to me.
