[TriLUG] spamhaus enforcing limits on connections

If you have spamhaus as one of your realtime black lists for spam
protection, and you do a large volume of email, be aware that after X
amount per month (I dunno what amount) you will be cut off from
accessing their service. If you have a product like Symantec Mail
Security for Exchange 4.6.x (anything not 5.x or newer), your product
may read rejected connections to spamhaus as verification of an IP
being on the spam list, therefore, 100% of IPs are on the list and
therefore 100% of inbound emails will be seen as spam. Yikes! Just
sharing as a warning to others.

That said, anyone using 3rd party solutions like MessageLabs or
Postini or the hosted version of Symantec Brightmail and want to
comment on what you think of it?

thanks,
David
