Just another data point.
A friend of mine owns / runs a colo server with a couple of dozen Apache
2 Virtual Hosts on it, and encountered the same issue Sunday ( I think
-- may have been Monday ), but only on one of his domains ( the primary
). He was getting, on this almost invisible ( but not enough ) e-mail
address, several hundred junk messages an hour for several hours, when
normally he gets almost none.
