I was in the same boat, and could not find a lin/gnu tool to get into
the box.
If you can get Passware, it does exactly what you need. I had to get into a
corrupt Active Directory Server [Win2K3], and it got the job done. Using a
CD with the OS you need to get into, Passware makes an ISO image.
Burn the ISO to CD, and when you boot the server, it drops you into a
console, allowing you to change admin passwords.
