put it in the freezer for a couple of hours, wrap it in 
plastic (so it won't get wet when taking it out) and then 
try to get a dd image of it. Then get answers to the other 
questions.

You may find it only clicks in a few spots, which you'll 
have to kiss goodbye to. You may need several cycles of 
dd'ing, each iteration just try to pick up the bits you 
didn't get on the previous iterations.
