I have a board that you must solder up yourself if you need it right
away.  I live in Raleigh BTW.  It uses the ft2232rl.  Its only like 3
parts.  

Also you can also dissasemble most usb serial interfaces and pick up the
ttl levels between the RS232 level shifter chip and usb-serial chip.
