I love Dell for what they are doing, but I think buying support from
Canonical is probably the better way to go.  I don't know the cost
differences though.  It may be that you just buy Canonical support through
Dell.  Again, I love Canonical and am an Ubuntu user through and through,
but if you're going to buy support, you should think about A) the mad
student discount you get from Red Hat through the university and B) helping
stimulate your local economy.
