[TriLUG] OT: how do I know if ethernet cable is plenum rated?

Look for CMP, CL2P, or CL3P, but you may not find those.

The NEC requires (725.82) class 2 & 3 riser and non-plenum types to be
marked as such, but does not require marking for CL2P or CL3P (only
listing).
