I'd go with the .40 - the kick of a 9, the punch of a 45 (or
thereabouts). I've never liked Glocks much, the grip angle is too
sharp for me and they're too light. I prefer Springfield Armory XD
compact. Although my favorite is the Steyr M40.

I looked at them several years ago. There are so many restrictions on
where/when you can carry it seems almost moot, unlike the free land of
PA - have $19 + state ID, will carry.
