[TriLUG] fstab bind format to mimic "mount --rbind" - or does it already?

Hi all

After man'ing fstab and mount, I don't see the equivalent fstab entry for a
recursive bind inside the fstab. Does that mean that the fstab 'bind' entry
*is* an rbind?
sample line in my fstab:
/media                  /cust          auto    bind    0 0
