I'm running 1280x800 (Dell Latitude D830) and I just use the Avant
Window Navigator for all my task switching needs. As soon as I can get
the AWN applet for Gimmie compiled, I'm going to check that one out
too. It does take up a bit of space, but I haven't really noticed it
versus the default panel (its probably 2-3x taller).
On a side note, what distro are you using Gimmie on? I'm using the
repo version on Fedora 9, and it is super crash happy. Have you found
the same thing?
