Great.  Now the only question is whether AT&T will sell you
"independent" service on a SIM card.  In other words, can I get service
from them which doesn't require first born, lifetime commitment, $100
per month minimum, and only if I get one of their telephones, for
someone who uses 5 minutes a month?
