Main Responsibilities

   1. answer and document customer calls and email requests
   2. follow support policy, process and procedures
   3. perform first-level diagnosis for customer issues
   4. assist in developing, improving and enforcing service-related procedures
   5. provide emergency on-call support 

Experience and Education

    * A college degree or undergraduate student
    * Help Desk experience in IT or technical experience in a customer-centric
      company 

Requirements

    * familiarity with the structure and assembly of the Linux operating system
    * strong Linux system administration skills and shell scripting
    * software development skills in one or more languages (Python is desirable)
    * experience with virtual machines and/or linux packaging technologies is
      also desirable but not required
    * excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and solution design skills
    * customer focused and able to accurately convey complex concepts via email,
      voice, or web communications
    * able to work within a global team
    * manage customer-oriented tasks governed by contractual response and
      resolution times
