If you run a Novell environment (as we did at my last job) SUSE may be the
best bet.  Also, I wonder the differences in SLED (SUSE Linux Enterprise
Desktop - what I used at work) and openSUSE.  Will openSUSE support the
hardware?  I'm an ubuntu fan myself, but I have a Dell.  Obviously it's up
to the individual, but if it was me, I'd at least try Ubuntu first and if
the driver support wasn't so great I'd try Fedora.  Then I'd try SUSE if I
was still displeased.
