Hi Anderson,
I found out, through the fedora-list, that I needed to reinstall grub. I
did not do that, when I upgraded to fc9.
I selected the default, which was to upgrade grub. The strange thing is
that I rebooted multiple times, after
upgrading to fc9, without encountering this problem. For what ever
reason it occurred on the reboot after a
smaller upgrade of seven packages, which included one related to the
kernal. In a moment of despair and
confusion, this lead me to think was related to the upgrade.
