[TriLUG] Really need some help w/ X and/or Gnome...

I throw myself upon y'all's collective mercy!

I've got a Lenovo ThinkCentre with an ATI card in it supporting dual 
heads. Until a few weeks ago it worked fine, with each head working and 
the mouse scrolling between the two. Then it mysteriously stopped 
working.... both heads display fine, and the resolution setting GUI in 
Gnome shows both screens. But the mouse is confined to the DVI-0 screen; I 
can't move it off the screen. If it's any clue, xrandr doesn't "see" the 
VGA-0 screen even though the gnome resolution picker does.

HELP!
