Try DimDim. Based on open source, it is free. http://www.dimdim.com/
Allows presentations and remote control of desktops. Works well with Ubuntu
and Firefox.
It suppports chat, tele conferencing and recording. Does almost everything
that WebEX meeting center does.
I used DimDim to configure my brother in law's laptop. He is a dentist (not
a geek) in UK. Starting the meeting and sharing of desktop was only a few
minutes. When I use webex, the same process takes a long time.
Response time to my clicks on his laptop was decent (probably slower than
WebEX would be).
