I have the windows boxes in this house exporting the 
directories of interest, to the local samba server. The 
samba server runs a cron job every hour, mounting those 
directories and does a `cp -auv $directory .`

Not quite the same as an rsync, the old stuff accumulates, 
but it's good enough
