[TriLUG] TigerDirect is having problems

Eh, just one more example of tigerdirect's customer service sucking. Seriously I don't understand why folks still do business with them.

Since tigerdirects website came up earlier...

I just ordered something through Tigerdirect's webpage and 
paid with Paypal. The transaction stayed pending in paypal 
for an hour (rather than getting instant e-mail confirmation 
from paypal and the vendor). After a couple of rounds of 
phone calls Tigerdirect admits it's their problem; their 
machines are down (but still happiely accepting orders 
apparently) and _I'll_ have to contact paypal to cancel the 
payment, as the transaction ID will be invalid.
