[TriLUG] Not Linux: Anyone else feeling the pain?

I talked to a company two years ago that offered two weeks of vacation to
start but one of those weeks was predefined over a specific time period
during the yearly company shut-down.  The rest of the benefits of this
particular company where pretty good, though (excellent matching 401k, good
medical, etc).
