[TriLUG] [OT] HD Antenna suggestions, was: TV Tuner Card suggestion

I am in Apex and have put my antenna in the unfinished part of the attic. At
first it worked fine, but now it seems to lose signals at night time.  I
haven't messed with it much to try and fix it, but I need to real soon. I do
have an amplifier installed. I have also considered moving it outside (but
not at the very top of the house, maybe just over the garage bonus room).

Anyone else have signal lose at night?

O.T.  For anyone looking I think I have a Fusion HD tuner card (PCI) that I
can let go for cheap.
