OK, I'll bite.

Your standard off-the-shelf Linksys WRT54g runs Linux.
So does your reflashed Tomato or DD-WRT router.

I imagine that you're talking about a stock PC or embedded
PC running Linux, and those are admirable goals.  But be
aware that a run-of-the-mill WRT running Tomato or DD-WRT
is a very powerful device with lots of advanced capabilities.
