[TriLUG] [OT] motorcycles

 I second Stan's comment. Get a bike that you like and fits you ... then
ride it. Don't concern yourself with those dealers that talk down other
brands. Brand loyalty can be a nightmare, so ignore it. Your familiar with
ignoring the M$ loyalists, right? Same thing. :)

I used to have a 76' Moto Guzzi 850T3, and can tell you that it was too big
for inner-city (Los Angeles at the time) riding. Out on the open road,
however, the thing was a dream to ride. If I were to get another bike these
days, I'd consider something that I could tour with and commute with as
easily.
Removable bags, and room enough for my lovely wife to go camping would be
the other requirements.
